Backstage star: meet one of our amazing Technical team members

If you’re looking for Ellen, you’re likely to find her in the dock – her favourite space next to the Wilde Theatre where you’ll find dragon puppets, Sherwood Forest Trees and other set pieces.

As part of the talented in-house tech team, Ellen applies her skills to set building, light rigging, stage management and all the behind-the-scenes elements which are essential for the smooth running of each and every one of our productions here at South Hill Park.

Ellen loves collaborating with her supportive team who problem solve their way through the new challenges each show brings.

It gives you an opportunity to work with different people – whether that’s in the cast or crew – working on one particular thing towards one shared goal and end point. There’s a sense of camaraderie, working together like that, it’s so special.
