Director of the Board of Haversham Trading Company

South Hill Park Trust (SHPT) is a charity running Bracknell’s premier Arts Centre. Haversham Trading, reporting to the SHPT Board of Trustees, is its subsidiary company, responsible for the identification, development and growth of SHPT’s commercial business income stream. Developing profitable new opportunities is a major part of the Board’s remit. This is a vital part of the funding that supports the purpose of the Trust and maximises its positive impact on our community.

The Haversham Board acts, collectively, as the conduit between the Trust, SHPT management and our commercial partners including our catering franchisees.

Haversham Board members have a duty and responsibility for the effective performance and governance of the SHPT commercial business operation.

The Board must always act in the best interests of SHPT, acting as a group and being accountable for their performance.

Learning and Participation Manager (21 hours per week)

South Hill Park is looking for a Learning and Participation Manager who will manage, administer and develop South Hill Park’s portfolio of visual and performing arts courses, classes and workshops, and bespoke community arts projects.

This is a multifaceted role, managing logistics, budgets and data whilst building and maintaining relationships with delivery partners, community organisations and participants. The Manager is the central point of contact for current and prospective participants and tutors and works with teams internally to maintain and develop the quality of our provision. The Manager will also support the delivery of all bespoke community engagement projects that take place on site and across Bracknell Forest.

Development Manager

South Hill Park is looking for a The Development Manager who will implement and develop our fundraising and development strategy, and campaigns, in order to meet annual targets.

The Development Office is a new department in South Hill Park, created to grow the fundraising income to deliver the Trust’s ambitions. It consists of a Development Manager and Development Officer. An external consultant acts as Development Director and will offer support to the department as required. The department’s role is to generate income through fundraising activities and events, membership fees, donations, trusts and statutory grants (inc. local authority grants).
