Director of Operations

South Hill Park is seeking a new full-time Director of Operations to lead and support the facilities and operations team in the management of the Arts Centre and Theatre, ensuring high levels of customer service; health and safety; security and buildings maintenance.

As a member of the senior leadership team, this roll will contribute to the strategic planning of South Hill Park Arts Centre and Theatre with particular focus on buildings maintenance; customer service; health and safety; IT and the management of the facilities and operations team. The operations team consists of: Director of Operations; Operations Manager; Duty Managers; Maintenance Co-ordinator; Janitors; Cleaners and the front of house Volunteers. Although the catering at South Hill Park is managed by a third party caterer, at all times provide appropriate levels of support and advice to ensure an efficient and commercially thriving catering and events offer, from the Atrium Restaurant and Bar to weddings and Wilde Theatre food, drink and merchandise sales.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • To lead and support the facilities and operations team;
  • To oversee buildings maintenance and daily housekeeping;
  • To ensure appropriate levels of security;
  • To ensure high levels of health and safety and customer care;
  • To establish an excellent working relationship with the caterer and registrars, to ensure efficient use of the facilities whilst maximising earned income.

Salary £27,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) with normal working hours of 35 hours per week plus lunch breaks. Some evening and weekend work may be required for which time off in lieu will be given. 29 days paid annual leave, including Public and Bank Holidays. Eligible for enrolment into South Hill Park’s workplace pension scheme.

Commercial Director

South Hill Park is seeking a new full-time Commercial Director to lead the creation, coordination and implementation of South Hill Park’s marketing, communication and commercial sales strategies, increasing revenue, attendance and customer satisfaction.

This role will work closely with the Marketing Manager, Box Office and Sales Manager, and the rest of the Marketing team, to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for all aspects of South Hill Park activities. This is in order to: meet and grow annual targets by maximising all earned income including: ticket sales, workshops/courses, commercial revenue – such as private hires and corporate events and fundraising; develop audiences/clients and raise South Hill Park’s local, regional and national profile.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • To develop and implement South Hill Park’s commercial sales and marketing strategies;
  • To work within set department budgets and maintain full financial records;
  • To maximise revenue from all commercial and fundraising activity in order to meet annual targets;
  • To oversee the successful promotion of South Hill Park’s annual programme of arts events and activities, including theatre, courses/workshops, cinema and visual arts;
  • To devise and implement bespoke development strategies to seek and engage new audiences/clients;
  • To ensure the highest quality production of all print and other relevant marketing materials including the development of South Hill Park’s digital marketing platforms, social media presence and seasonal brochure;
  • To maintain strong brand awareness throughout South Hill Park, in Bracknell Forest and beyond.

Salary £27,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) with normal working hours of 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend work may be required for which time off in lieu will be given. 29 days paid annual leave, including Public and Bank Holidays. Eligible for enrolment into South Hill Park’s workplace pension scheme.

Marketing Manager

South Hill Park is seeking a new part-time Marketing Manager to manage the day-to-day marketing and PR for South Hill Park’s commercial business plans, courses and workshops, cinema screenings, art exhibitions and fundraising initiatives.

This role will work closely with the Commercial Director, Box Office and Sales Manager, and the rest of the Marketing and Box Office teams, to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for all aspects of South Hill Park activities in order to: meet and grow annual targets by maximising all earned income including: ticket sales, workshops/courses, commercial revenue – such as private hires and corporate events and fundraising; develop audiences/clients and raise South Hill Park’s local, regional and national profile.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • To manage the day to day marketing and PR for South Hill Park’s commercial business plans;
  • To generate new online and printed media opportunities for courses and workshops, fundraising initiatives, cinema screenings and art exhibitions;
  • To provide day to day marketing and promotional support for all fundraising activity; courses and workshops; cinema screenings and visual arts exhibitions.

Salary £13,200 – £14,400 per annum, depending on experience (full-time equivalent, £22,000 – £24,000, based on 35hrs per week). Normal working hours of 21 hours per week plus unpaid lunch breaks. Some additional hours may be required for which time off in lieu will be given. 29 days paid annual leave (pro rata), including Public and Bank Holidays. Eligible for enrolment into South Hill Park’s workplace pension scheme.
