Bracknell Film Society
Showing exceptional films for cinema lovers since 1960, Bracknell Film Society is open to anyone over 16.
The Society encourages interest in film as an art form, and a medium for education, by screening exceptional arthouse, foreign language, classic, independent, documentary and short films.
The study and appreciation of films is promoted through screenings, discussions, lectures from visiting speakers, and visits to relevant institutions and places of interest.
We choose about 16 films per year for showing at South Hill Park cinema. This usually consists of one film per month with a Quarterly Classic every three months. We also present occasional themed seasons. Our films are always followed by a discussion afterwards ‘in the bar’.
