Your Community Event, Your Way
South Hill Park Arts Centre has a number of spaces for hire that are perfect for community groups and productions. Whether you are seeking somewhere to host a weekly group, looking for a rehearsal space, or want a venue for your community production – we have the perfect space for you.
We offer a variety of performance areas; from McAllister’s for 20ppl and The Studio Theatre for 50ppl – both popular with Artemis College and Blackeyed Theatre – to intimate private screenings in our Cinema for 60ppl and music evenings in the Recital Room complete with a Baby Grand piano.
The Dance Studio offers great rehearsal space and our Cellar Bar is perfect for that musical tribute act with space for 120ppl. The Coach House is regularly used by our performing arts students and is perfect for community groups looking for larger space for AGMs, award ceremonies and more. In addition, our professional 325-seat Wilde Theatre is well equipped and extremely popular with local performance groups including Park Opera, East Berkshire Operatic Society (EBOS) and the Lynette Stephenson Academy of Dance, who hire them for their regular public performances.
