Please note this is a 10 week course with a one week half term break.
Relaxation, stress-relief, an improved posture and muscle tone as well as a healthy mind and body are all benefits of a regular yoga class at South Hill Park.
You will need to bring a yoga mat and wear loose comfortable clothing. You may want to bring a bottle of water.
Gabriella Rees was born in Italy and came to live in Britain in 1985. She qualified as an aromatherapist with the Shirley price Institute in the 90s and later studied remedial and sports injury massage, foot reflex techniques and herbalism. In the course of her training Gabriella began to practise yoga and quickly discovered the range of health and spiritual benefits it offered. Following several years of practise Gabriella studied with Swami Satchidananda Ma to gain her British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Diploma. In her 25 years of teaching Gabi has been a yoga lecturer for many years at both East Berkshire College and Bracknell & Wokingham College, at the M.S. Centre in Reading and at the Winnersh Centre amongst other. Gabi runs her own classes in the Bracknell area for all levels and also has been teaching yoga at South Hill Park Arts Centre, running 2 classes for over 15 years. Gabi’s classes regularly sell out. “Yoga gives me a sense of reassurance and self-worth. I have found that yoga has improved the quality of my life, both physically and spiritually”.
