We Will Rock You

CMP presents We Will Rock You, the smash-hit musical powered by the legendary songs of Queen and a story celebrating rebellion, creativity and the power of live music.

Set in a dystopian future where originality is outlawed and music is controlled by algorithms and autotune; the world is ruled by the ruthless Globalsoft Corporation. Live instruments are banned, rock is forgotten and individuality is crushed. But hope survives in the Bohemians — a group of free-thinking rebels determined to rediscover rock and roll and bring music back to the people.

At the centre of the story are Galileo, a dreamer haunted by unexplained song lyrics, and Scaramouche, a sharp-witted outsider who refuses to conform. Together, they set out to uncover the truth behind the legends of rock, challenge the system and prove that music can still change the world. Standing in their way is the formidable Killer Queen, whose grip on power is as fierce as her attitude.
Featuring more than 20 Queen hits, including Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions, Don’t Stop Me Now, Somebody to Love, Radio Ga Ga and I Want to Break Free, this is a bold, funny and electrifying night of rock theatre that will have audiences clapping, singing and leaving on a high.
