If you could imagine the love child of Bill Bailey and Victoria Wood, that would be Polly Morris. Her observational comedy songs about such things as supermarket shopping or the perils of email, are songs that you can instantly identify with. These are peppered with more thoughtful acoustic numbers that pull at the heart strings.
Polly has been singing her songs from an early age, playing piano or guitar as accompaniment. She enjoys writing the songs as much as she loves performing them.
Polly’s guests for her performance will be Tomorrow Bird – a British acoustic duo comprising of solo artist Jen Bird and Simon Driscoll from the folk-rock band Burnt Tomorrow. Drawing influences from bands such as The Civil Wars, their haunting melodies and heart-felt lyrics have transfixed audiences and marked them out as a band to watch.
