Get Confident with Colour

Have you ever wanted to get more confident in your approach to using colour in your paintings? In this five week course we dive a little deeper into colour theory and after the five weeks you will come away with a greater understanding of how colour works.

We cover amongst over things, the colour wheel, mixing fresh vibrant colours, organising a workable palette, monochromatic and complementary colours, warm cool and neutral colours and understand how and why the masters used certain colours. All abilities are welcome.

About Daren Mason

After graduating from the Norwich School of Art and Design with a degree in illustration, I set a studio up in London. I worked mainly as an editorial illustrator and spent 20 years freelancing for advertising agencies.

I am passionate about the natural world for which its dynamic spirit provides me an endless source of inspiration. I aim to convey this in my work by letting the brush strokes transfer energy and life into the subjects of my paintings.
