Whether you want to promote your business, document your family life or share stories using just your smartphone this beginner friendly course is designed to build your confidence behind the camera while introducing the essential skills used by filmmakers, storytellers, and content creators every day.

Through practical, hands-on exercises, you’ll learn the grammar and mechanics of visual storytelling, from framing and shooting to editing and shaping a compelling narrative.

Along the way, you’ll learn to think like an editor, discovering how to shape footage into compelling stories and squeeze every drop of potential from what you shoot to turn simple ideas into engaging films.
By the end of the course, you’ll have created an original pieces from start to finish, giving you the skills and confidence to continue making films long after the course ends.

The course is led by filmmaker Ani Madabushi, who holds a BA in Film Studies from Emory University in the United States and an MA in Filmmaking from London Film School.
