BAM Productions are looking for three cast members for their upcoming production of Teechers by John Godber.
Auditions will be held at South Hill Park Arts Centre on Saturday 10th October 2026.
We are looking for performers aged 18yrs+ and welcome people of all ages and backgrounds.
There is no pressure to learn anything for the audition. Audition material will be sent separately via email.

When Salty, Gail and Hobby arrive at a struggling secondary school, they’re determined to put on a play that will prove there’s more to their school than meets the eye. But as they take on a whole host of teachers, pupils and parents, the line between reality and theatre quickly begins to blur.
Written by John Godber, Teechers is a fast-paced, hilarious and sharply observed comedy about education, ambition and the power of theatre to change lives.
With just three performers playing an entire school, Teechers is a whirlwind of characters, accents, physical comedy and theatrical imagination. Behind the laughs, Godber explores what happens when young people are given the chance to be heard, and the power of creativity to make a difference.

As part of the production, BAM Productions are also looking to work with local schools and young people, including through theatre workshops, drama sessions, Q&As and other creative activities exploring the themes of the play.
