Introducing Access2Arts

July 14, 2026

Supported by Wellington College

We are delighted to announce Access2Arts, a new scheme made possible through generous support provided by Wellington College.

Access2Arts will provide up to 70 FREE opportunities for young people aged 11-18yrs to participate in selected full-price courses and workshops at South Hill Park, at no cost, so there is no financial barrier to taking part in creative activities. This includes courses such as Wilde Sparks Youth Theatre, K-Pop Dance, LAMDA Grade 5 Solo Acting and our Summer and Easter schools (booking for Summer Project 26 closes on Mon 27 July 2026). To see all the available courses and workshops please visit here.

If your child is aged 11-18yrs and currently receives Pupil Premium or Free School Meals, and you would like to find out more about how Access2Arts may be able to support them to take part, please click on this form to register your interest.

We are extremely grateful to Wellington College for investing in young people and helping to widen access to the arts across our community.

Access2Arts Eligibility Criteria

The Access2Arts programme supports young people who may otherwise be unable to participate in arts activities at South Hill Park because of financial or personal barriers.

To be eligible for a fully funded place, applicants must be aged between 11 and 18 years at the time of the activity, be a resident of Bracknell Forest, and meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Be eligible for, or currently in receipt of, Pupil Premium funding or Free School Meals;
• Be identified by the local authority as a young carer; or
• Be a young person in care.
Applicants may be asked to provide confirmation of eligibility where appropriate.

We recognise some families may be experiencing financial hardship or challenging circumstances, but may not meet the criteria above. Where a family is already known to South Hill Park and makes a self-referral, South Hill Park reserves the right to offer a discretionary partial bursary. This will normally cover 50% of the cost of the activity.

All applications will be considered individually and remain subject to available funding, suitable course availability and the needs of the young person.
