Based on the BAFTA award-winning 1997 film, The Full Monty follows six unemployed Sheffield men who decide to take a chance, rediscover their confidence, and stage a one-night-only striptease act with a promise to go “The Full Monty”.
Set against the backdrop of 1990s Sheffield, this brilliant comedy is packed with humour, warmth and unforgettable characters, whilst also exploring themes that still resonate today – from masculinity and self-worth to friendship, resilience and surviving during difficult economic times.
We are looking for a strong ensemble cast ready to bring energy, honesty and humour to this iconic production.
Audition information
Auditions will take place in 15-minute slots and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred time.

Thursday 28 May 2026 — 7pm–9.30pm
Saturday 30 May 2026 — 12.30pm–6pm
During your audition, you will be asked to read a short scene and work with the director to explore different interpretations of the text in a relaxed and supportive environment. Any material you need to prepare in advance will be sent to you with your audition confirmation email.
