As part of Heritage Open Days, Fri 12 – Sun 21 Sept 2025, we’re excited to unveil a new portrait of South Hill Park Arts Centre by long-time friend of our venue, Sandra Bright.
Sandra has been part of South Hill Park for many years, as an artist, teacher and board member. Her work has been exhibited here countless times. Her latest portrait now takes its place in our permanent collection, celebrating the centre’s place at the heart of our local heritage.
Heritage Open Days, linked to European Heritage Days across 50 countries, highlights the importance of preserving and celebrating cultural heritage. We are proud of South Hill Park being a significant part of our local heritage and culture, and Sandra’s portrait is a wonderful reflection of this.
For the duration of the week, the portrait will be on display in the Tall Hall (to the left of the Box Office) before being installed in its new home at the top of the mansion staircase. Please come and take a look!
