From set building to light rigging and stage management, Ellen helps bring every production to life, tackling new challenges alongside her backstage colleagues. Read more of Ellen’s story here. Your support helps the Wilde Theatre thrive, providing opportunities to everyone.
NEW TREES, NEW LIFE
In late February, a team of dedicated individuals, including the council’s Heritage Parks Team, South Hill Park staff, and our wonderful volunteers, planted 641 native trees in the woodland area. Together, we’re creating a thriving woodland that will soon be home to a variety of native species, including oak, beech, and wild cherry trees. The young trees (bare-root whips) will grow and flourish over time, improving the biodiversity of the park and giving visitors even more natural beauty to enjoy – leaving a lasting impact on our local environment.
