A TRIBUTE TO JULIAN HIRST
It is with great sadness that we share the news of Julian Hirst’s passing. Julian was a cherished member of South Hill Park for over 40 years, known for his incredible performances, remarkable character creations, and skills in makeup, prosthetics, and magic. From his unforgettable portrayal of Fagin in Oliver! to directing and playing the Dame in countless pantomimes, Julian’s talent, humour, and creativity brought joy to so many. He was a mentor to aspiring performers, always kind and encouraging. Julian touched countless lives, and his legacy will live on. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Lisa Renals, South Hill Park Trustee, fellow actor, and close friend, shares some kind words here.
