SPECIAL MENTION IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS
We’re incredibly grateful to Peter Swallow MP, representing Bracknell, for giving Robin Hood and the Magic Arrow a special shoutout in the House of Commons. Peter emphasised the importance of funding Pantomimes and local Arts Centres like ours, helping the magic of panto live on for everyone to enjoy. Oh yes, he did! PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT

It’s official – the performing trio has been revealed. Join Keir Buist (Adam/Felicia), Gordon Cowell (Bernadette), and Stu Hayllor (Tick) as they take centre stage in our sparkling Easter production. CREATIVE CONNECTIONS THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS
Daler-Rowney has been a valued corporate partner for years, providing funding and art materials for projects like our Summer of Fun Family Project. This initiative brought creative activities—such as samba drumming, clay modelling, and traditional rangoli sand art—to over 950 children from low-income families. HEALTHY EATING PROJECT
We have partnered with Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust and Podium Fitness for a new healthy eating project. We are working with year 3 pupils from Great Holland’s Primary School and Birch Hill Primary School to educate young children on the importance of a healthy diet and lifestyle, with the help from a dietician and personal trainer for top tips and guidance. Over the next term, the students will partake visual art workshops touring in an exhibition across local schools in Bracknell. The exhibition will also be held at South Hill Park – watch this space for more information soon.


CELEBRATING THE ATRIUM
We’re proud to announce that The Atrium Bar and Restaurant, which is managed by the Peas and Carrots team, has been awarded a 5-star food hygiene rating score. Congratulations to Lisa Turner (General Manager), Dave Maslen (Head Chef) and their team for this achievement. It reflects their dedication to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality. SOUTH HILL PARK’S STORY
For our 50th Anniversary in October 2023, Alex Harvey-Brown, from Savannah Media, produced a captivating film that explores the rich history of South Hill Park. This documentary is a tribute to the people of South Hill Park—past, present, and future—offering a unique look at its transformation from a private house to a thriving Arts Centre over the last 50 years. CRAFTY CINEMA

Bring your own crafting project—whether it’s knitting, sewing, crocheting, or scrapbooking—and let the movie magic unfold. Lights will be on, but dimmed just right, so you can craft while you enjoy the film. A MURDER IS ANNOUNCED [ON AIR]

The sleepy village of Chipping Cleghorn is puzzled when a peculiar notice appears in the local paper—a murder is set to take place at Little Paddocks. Naturally, the nosy neighbours can’t resist turning up to see what’s afoot. But instead of a parlour game, they stumble into something far more sinister—a real-life crime scene. This production unfolds like a classic 1950s radio broadcast live on stage. Keep your eyes peeled – LB Productions will be kindly raising funds for South Hill Park during their interval. MANSION TOURS
Sun 9 Feb – Sun 20 July
Take a tour of South Hill Park Arts Centre and discover what goes on behind-the-scenes. You’ll get to see the visual art studios in action and go backstage in the Wilde Theatre. Tours last 60-80 minutes and include visits to various rooms and venues, as well as information about the Arts Centre’s history and upcoming performances.

WILDE ABOUT ARTS: TUTOR VACANCY
South Hill Park is looking for a Tutor to deliver creative and inspiring arts workshops for young carers, helping them explore different art forms and express themselves through creativity. This role focuses on providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for participants, many of whom may be vulnerable. The tutor will use the arts as a tool to explore various themes, encouraging ambition, curiosity, and self-expression in an inclusive and innovative way. Click here to find out more and apply.

You can always support us (at no extra cost to you) as you shop online via the easyfundraising scheme.
The Bracknell Forest Lottery Scheme continues supporting our work while allowing players to win up to £25,000. Tickets are just £1 per week, and we receive fifty per cent of the profit from all tickets sold on our page, while ten per cent goes to other local good causes. Also, you can ‘refer a friend’ via this link for a chance to win an extra £200.

Young performers take centre stage in an original musical theatre showcase for 5 days, with professional sound, lighting and set design.

Summer Project 25

A 5-day musical theatre adventure. Participants will rehearse, create, write and perform their own production.

Summer School 25 – Performers
Sat 19 July – Sun 3 Aug
A 10-day musical theatre intensive, culminating in a full-scale production of The Addams Family.

A 10-day backstage experience working hands-on with industry experts in a fully equipped professional theatre.
