WILDE ABOUT ARTS: SUPPORT FOR YOUNG CARERS
Our Wilde About Arts initiative offers a safe space for young carers across Bracknell Forest. Through this programme, they are able to express all aspects of artistic expression alongside a group of peers who understand the difficult circumstances they may face at home. For Russell Turner, who has facilitated the course for over eight years, seeing even the most apprehensive children find their voice through creativity is a privilege like no other. ENSEMBLE OPEN AUDITION

CRAFT & DESIGN FAIR 2024

PORTRAIT ARTIST OF THE YEAR
Mick McNicholas, our Drawing and Painting tutor, is currently showcasing his skills on Sky Portrait Artist of the Year (Series 11, episode 2), airing until mid-December. Following a successful career as a digital artist, Mick rediscovered his passion for producing physical works of art. Mick’s drawings and paintings have been shown at numerous prestigious exhibitions and were also part of the Proseed Collective at the Venice Biennale 2024.
