AUGUST NEWSLETTER
BRACKNELL FOREST PRIDE 2024
The sun was shining, the glitter was sparkling, and the love was overflowing at this year’s Pride. We boogied on down, perused the stalls with glee, and were absolutely gobsmacked by the incredible talent on stage.
Our marketing department had a stall where we played some seriously silly games, with free tickets to our upcoming shows up for grabs, and raised funds to keep doing what we do best: spreading love and inclusivity. Thank you to Bracknell Forest Pride, and all those who make up this beautiful community. Keep shining bright.
WILDE WEEK 2024
This week-long extravaganza is a celebration of creativity, where nearly 600 children from local schools participated in various creative workshops. What makes this festival truly special is the involvement of our Wilde Young Producers, who played a pivotal role in designing and delivering the event, with the support of our Learning and Participation team. It’s heart-warming to see how our community has come together to take part in inspiring a love for the arts in the next generation. Watch the lovely Wilde Week 2024 video here.
SUMMER SCHOOL: LES MISERABLES
Our Summer School participants put on an amazing show of Les Misérables this year – and they did it all in just 10 days! We couldn’t have done it without Artemis College, the incredible creative team, and of course our talented young performers and technicians. The audience was blown away by the professional standard of the show and the sheer talent on display at the Wilde Theatre. Keep an eye out for next year’s Summer School applications and tickets to the show.
