Director for Kinky Boots 2023
South Hill Park is looking for an experienced director of musical theatre to help stage its Easter 2023 musical Kinky Boots and confidently lead a large, professional creative and technical team through the production process.
With a collaborative approach at the heart of your process and strong artistic vision, the director will bring together all aspects of the production to create a professional, slick and polished show which maintains South Hill Park’s reputation for producing high-quality, in-house musical theatre.
In recent years we have pushed the boundaries of what is possible and changed perceptions about what can be achieved within the time and resources we have available. We will work with the successful applicant to maintain the exceptional production values audiences have come to expect from our Easter musical experience.
If you are passionate about directing high-quality musical theatre and working with our exceptionally talented community company and professional creative team, we would like to hear from you.
This is a paid role with rehearsals usually every Sunday plus one week day evening from January 2023 with auditions typically held mid to late September 2022.

I shared this to Vinny Coyle who commented he would love to be involved.
You couldn’t ask for a better West End Musical performer and local man too. My son worked with him in Les Mis Concert and he’s been in Phantom, as well as many others if you check out his details. Highly experienced and really top bloke.
Hi Laura. If Vinny is interested int he position, please get him to email Mark.Hooper@nullsouthhillpark.org.uk to have a talk about the role.
