Eleven learners took their LAMDA exams at South Hill Park this summer under the tuition of Mark Hooper (Director of Learning, Participation and Community Engagement).
The learners (10 Grade 8 & 1 Grade 1) had their exams cancelled at the start of the pandemic and had their session reschedule over a year later. Despite the difficult circumstances, the learners took part in online lessons and continued home practice before returning to the studio in the weeks leading up to the exam.
Their hard work paid off with distinctions across the board. The Grade 8 exam is worth 30 UCAS points and this will help the learners with their University/Drama School applications.
Congratulations on such fantastic results!
