Arts and Crafts Bringing Us Together

March 20, 2020

While at home, either working remotely or in self-isolation, join us in a new creative project to bring the community together, and create a piece of art with ‘home’ or ‘home for the arts’ in mind.

We want to collect work from all ages to create a big display at the Wilde Community Gallery to celebrate the fantastic creativity in our community once we are able to welcome everyone back to South Hill Park.

The work needs to be 10x10cm or 4x4inch and able to be attached to a wall. We are also planning to use some digital displays as well, so you could create a video around 30 seconds long, in MP4 format.

Some ideas for art forms you can use are;

  • Knitted
  • Crochet
  • Stitched
  • Ceramic tile
  • Drawing
  • Painting
  • Print
  • Photography
  • Lino cut
  • Collage
  • Mosaic
  • Animation
  • Vlog
  • Or anything else you want to create.

When you are able please post to us, or drop in once we re-open – but for now please take a photo of your creation and send by email to loucia.manopoulou@nullsouthhillpark.org.uk and creativelearningshp@nullicloud.com so that we can share via our social media. Please send all video files via wetransfer.com to the same email addresses.

Our postal address is South Hill Park, Ringmead, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 7PA

We are all in this together.
