The Legal & General Homes Team from Crowthorne’s Bucklers Park development has taken some time off from home building duties to join South Hill Park Arts Centre’s amazing Front of House Volunteer team this festive season.
Over the next two weeks the arts centre is lucky to be joined by 14 volunteers from Legal and General Homes who have chosen to generously give up some of their time to volunteer with the theatre. In the true spirit of Christmas the gift of their precious time at such a busy period in the year has been welcomed with open arms by their front of house team.
The first group of volunteers took on stewarding duties on Wed 4 Dec 2019 for two very busy shows including visiting schools. The volunteers were in a festive uniform of Christmas jumpers adding extra Christmas cheer to all the visitors throughout the day. A special thank you goes to Eleanor and Katie of Legal and General Homes for helping organise this.
All of the team at South Hill Park are truly grateful to the regular team of volunteers who not only help the arts centre and theatre on a daily basis with many of the front of house operations, but continue to embrace and help train new volunteers who join the team. Volunteers are hugely important to South Hill Park and over the course of a year give the arts centre thousands of hours of their time.
