Bracknell Together Walk raises £3,000 for local charities

The first Bracknell Together Walk was held on Sun 9 July 2019. We attracted over 120 walkers walking for their chosen charities, raising much needed awareness and a total of £3,000 for local good causes.

The walk was organised by South Hill Park Arts Centre in Partnership with the Rotary Club of Easthampstead. The walk was a huge success with free face painting for all walkers, music by Pauly Zarb and a special breakfast offer by the Atrium Bar and Restaurant, even the rain didn’t dampen walkers spirits.

Charities represented on the day include The Stroke Association, Home Start and Absolutely Together. A massive thank you to all volunteers, including the Police Cadets who helped marshall the walk. We are hoping to make this walk an annual event so watch this space for details about next year.
