Is it July already? That means that we’re looking forward to our autumn production which celebrates the centenary of the end of the First World War. Our primary cast has been chosen, and they will be bringing award-winning writer Michael Morpurgo’s Private Peaceful (Wed 10 – Sun 14 October) to life.
South Hill Park is pleased to announce that the following actors will star in this insightful and deeply touching production:
Keir Buist – Private ‘Tommo’ Peaceful
Keir has been in many productions at South Hill Park, most recently taking on the role of Marty the Zebra in the Arts Centre’s Easter production of Madagascar – A Musical Adventure. He has also appeared in past pantomimes, and can’t wait to get into rehearsals for this iconic story.
Michael Ayiotis – Private Charlie Peaceful
Michael has been a South Hill Park regular for a number of years, starring in past summer shows such as the titular boy who could never grow up in Peter Pan (2016), the gentle fawn Mr Tumnus in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2017) and most recently as King Julien in Madagascar. This history has allowed him to grow as an actor, and throw himself into more serious roles such as Charlie in Private Peaceful, while still retaining the playfulness required by the character.
Ally McEnhill – Molly
Ally has also taken on roles in summer productions at South Hill Park: last year, she starred as Susan in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, which was her debut performance on the Wilde Theatre stage.
Since then, she has thrown herself into the world of acting, and can’t wait to appear in such a meaningful production.
Be sure to get your tickets for Private Peaceful this October, and celebrate friendship, family and love in the most bitter-sweet way.
