We are so excited to welcome Gwen Taylor to the cast of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest, here at the Wilde Theatre from 17th to 21st May!
You know Gwen best from her popular TV roles in Heartbeat, Duty Free and A Bit of a Do. She also brings a wealth of theatrical experience and we are absolutely thrilled that she’s decided to join the cast.
‘This is a role I have wanted to play for some time, so I am delighted to join the cast as the iconic Lady Bracknell at South Hill Park in May.’ – Gwen Taylor.
Staying with news about the show… the director/actor Alastair Whatley and some of the cast (TBC) will hold a discussion session after the performance on Friday 19th. This will be a great opportunity to ask the questions you have about Oscar Wilde, as Alastair played the man himself in The Importance of Being Oscar right here at South Hill Park for the 21st anniversary of The Wilde Theatre.
