South Hill Park’s third community production of 2016 will be transporting you to Victorian London, set amidst the dark, sooty alleyways of Victorian London, with the beloved musical classic, Oliver!
Following huge successes of both in-house shows this year, the team who brought you One Man, Two Guvnors and Sweeney Todd, are back, guaranteeing you a magical musical full to the brim of outstanding entertainment across the board from our community cast, including our fantastic junior chorus, who through their participation in the Easter School, work alongside the lead take on ensemble roles within the production!
Oliver! last graced the Wilde Theatre stage in 2008, and now eight years later, is going to be bigger and better than ever before, set to that infamous score by Lionel Bart that we all know and love, and directed by the hugely talented Adam Stafford who has directed several productions at South Hill Park (James and the Giant Peach, Fawlty Towers, Fawlty Towers 2).
South Hill Park welcomes you to follows the journey of a young orphan who faces the trials and tribulations suffered by the lower classes by simple asking for more…Join the Artful Dodger, Nancy, Fagin and his urchins who take Oliver under their wing, teaching him the ways of all scallywags and ragamuffins!

Will Bill Sykes finally get locked up for good?
Will the Artful Dodger pick a pocket or two?
