Etching and Aquatint

Please note this is a 5 week course.

Learn the basic techniques of etching using grounds on steel and zinc and experiment with aquatint – the process of creating tone in your image. Plates and paper are available to purchase during the class.

All equipment, inks, newsprint and tissue paper are provided. Other papers and printing plates (lino, zinc etc.) can be purchased through the studio if required.
