Towards Zero
Auditions
We have prepared a sign up form which will help us allocate the right audition pieces for you.
Sign up by clicking on this link here. You will only need to attend one of the audition dates.
We will start by sharing the director’s concept, then auditionees will split into pairs or groups to run through allocated scenes for around 10 minutes, and these will be played back to the audition panel and other groups. We will repeat this for another round, where you may be asked to read for another role. Please don’t worry if you don’t get to read for every part that you signed up for; we will bear your selections in mind! The session will finish with a recap and an opportunity for any follow-up questions.
You do not need to prepare any scenes ahead of auditions, but if you would like to read the play before auditioning you can receive a PDF copy of the full script by contacting Luke Burton at luke_adam_burton@nullyahoo.com

Hope to see you there!
The Story
When a house party gathers at Gull’s Point, the seaside home of Lady Tressilian, tensions rise as Neville Strange finds himself caught between his ex-wife Audrey and his new wife Kay. As interactions and events unfold between guests and residents, the characters move towards a ‘zero hour’ of murder. Superintendent Battle and Inspector Leach are brought in following Lady Tressilian’s violent death, but find that murder is far from the beginning of the story, and instead the end result of many clues from the past. A psychological thriller, the play explores jealousy, deceit and revenge.
If you would like to read the script, a digital copy is available, please contact Luke at luke_adam_burton@nullyahoo.com
