Seasonal Willow Workshop – Festive Wreath and Stars

Join us for this festive workshop and create your own hand decorated willow wreath and woven star decorations for your home or garden. Learn how to create a willow wreath base and decorate by wiring in foliage and decadent hand-made embellishments. In addition, you will learn how to create beautiful willow stars to create either hanging decorations or garden stakes.

This workshop will be led by Sinéad, artist and educator. Sinead’s work explores structure and surface through the manipulation of traditional techniques to create layered mixed-media forms. Multi-disciplinary, focusing on constructed textile methods and hand embellishment, Sinead specialises in tactile three-dimensional art inspired by natural forms, faded beauty and decadent couture jewellery.

All materials included. We will have artificial foliage and ribbons to decorate our wreaths – but if you would like to bring real foliage to use then you are very welcome to.
