Mokulito Printmaking

MOKULITO means “wood lithography” and was developed in the 1970s in Japan. You will learn how to prepare and draw into a plywood plate, with the various drawing materials. Once the printing process begins on the second day, you can then enliven the image using woodcut techniques. By the end of the course, you will take home a small variable edition of prints. Please come ready with some ideas or images for inspiration, as this will be an energetic and fast paced course!
