Jewellery Making Taster Workshop – Make a Ring in a Day

This course is perfect for anyone who hasn’t tried jewellery making before but wants to give it a go. By the end of the day you will leave with a finished silver ring. You will cover a range of jewellery making techniques such as piercing, filing, annealing, soldering, shaping and polishing.

No experience is necessary for this course. All tools will be provided. Students are supported by the tutor throughout each project.

Basic materials will be provided, you will then have the opportunity to purchase a piece of silver to make a ring (depending on your design the average price is £5-£8).

You will need to bring: a sketchbook and something to write with; an apron or old clothes that you don’t mind getting messy; enthusiasm for the subject and a willingness to learn.

You must wear flat shoes as this is a safety requirement.
