Conservatoire International Concert Series: Mitra Alice Tham
Mitra makes a welcome return, having provided an emergency concert last season. Now she presents a remarkable programme that includes Bach’s monumental masterpiece, The Goldberg Variations. Her programme concludes with some piano 4 hand duos, just like last time, with her remarkable mother.
Our International Concert Series continues into its 11th season with a fine schedule of 8 concerts given by a number of musicians that have achieved high praise on the international concert platform. We are proud to welcome them to our Recital Room at South Hill Park. Students from the Purcell School will return in March 2024 adding further to the international flavour of our concerts. Notable in this new season is Virtuoso aspect of our concert programmes, featuring some of the greatest music in the piano and chamber music genre. All concerts take place in the beautiful Recital Room at SHP, in an informal and friendly atmosphere. If you are new to this kind of musical experience, fear not – you will be made very welcome.
