Conservatoire: Foyle-Stsura

This a welcome return of the Foyle-Stsura duo. Their recording of the complete Beethoven Violin sonatas received 5 red stars in the BBC Music Magazine. They are now international stars and will open our season with Sonatas by Beethoven, Malcolm Arnold and Elgar.

The Conservatoire International Concerts are about to enter their 12th season. They were founded to offer a platform to young musicians emerging from the UK’s international conservatoires. They now play to full houses in the Recital Room to an enthusiastic audience. The programmes are made up of music from the Baroque to the present day. They are unashamedly classical in their outlook and fill a gap in our cultural life. This coming season sees the return of old friends as well as new young musicians who have requested a date in our concerts which have an enviable reputation for excellence and enjoyment.
