Conservatoire: David Malusa

A friend from the past, David Malusa is now Head of Keyboard at Wellington College. His programme of us is a piano adventure with Schubert Impromptus, Schubert lieder arr, by Liszt, the famous Bach/Busoni Chaconne and the whole of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony in Liszt’s famous arrangement.

The Conservatoire International Concerts are about to enter their 12th season. They were founded to offer a platform to young musicians emerging from the UK’s international conservatoires. They now play to full houses in the Recital Room to an enthusiastic audience. The programmes are made up of music from the Baroque to the present day. They are unashamedly classical in their outlook and fill a gap in our cultural life. This coming season sees the return of old friends as well as new young musicians who have requested a date in our concerts which have an enviable reputation for excellence and enjoyment.
