Online Community Exhibition: Arts and Crafts Bringing Us Together

While at home, either working remotely or in self-isolation, join us in a new creative project to bring the community together: create a piece of art around the theme of ‘home’ or ‘home for the arts’.

We want to collect work from all ages to create a big mosaic, in the Wilde Community Gallery, to celebrate the fantastic creativity in our community – once we are able to welcome everyone back to South Hill Park.

The work needs to be 10x10cm or 4x4inch and able to be attached to a wall. We’re also planning to use some digital displays as well – so you could create a video, around 30 seconds long, in MP4 format.

Some ideas for art forms you can use are:
• Knitted
• Crochet
• Stitched
• Ceramic tile
• Drawing
• Painting
• Print
• Photography
• Lino cut
• Collage
• Mosaic
• Animation
• Or anything else you want to create!

When you are able, please post your artwork to us or drop it in once we re-open – but for now, please take a photo of your creation and send by email to loucia.manopoulou@southhillpark.org.uk and creativelearningshp@icloud.com so that we can share the images via our social media pages.

Please send all video files via WeTransfer.com to the same email addresses. Our postal address is South Hill Park, Ringmead, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 7PA

Even in isolation, your creativity doesn’t have to be in lockdown!

Below is a gallery of some of the wonderful entries so far.
