Loucinda is a designer and silversmith, based in the West Berkshire countryside. Using traditional techniques she creates contemporary silverware and jewellery, which is both simple in shape and sensitive in design. Function is a significant part of her work, her ethos is to make pieces that are beautiful to use, as well as look at.
Loucinda has a distinctive style, and has won numerous awards for her designs. She has worked to commission for various clients and exhibited in many well known exhibitions and galleries. Her approach to teaching is relaxed and she adapts each lesson to suit individual needs.
