Festival of Food and Music

The Festival of Food and Music is a highlight of the summer in the beautiful grounds of South Hill Park.

Featuring performances by local and regional musicians, a feast of food stalls including paella, Thai, vegan dishes, Ethiopean specialities, pies and more. The event includes popular family activities including bouncy castle (weather permitting), facepainting and meeting birds of prey – there’s something for everyone.

• BBQ Area
• Children’s Play Area
• Face-Painting
• Peas and Carrots catering (BBQ, Dirty Chips, Beer Tent)

Entry is FREE. Please note that stall holders will charge for food, drinks, crafts and activities. To keep this event free entry, please support our stallholders by purchasing food, produce and wares from their stalls.

PARKING
Our parking is limited so we encourage you to walk if you live nearby or to use public transport. We kindly ask you to respect our neighbours and do not park in resident streets. You can find more information on how to find us here. There is an overflow car park at Birch Hill Shops which is only a 5 minute walk to the South Hill Park grounds. When you reach Birch Hill Shops please follow signs for overflow parking at the Leppington car park.

FOOD AND DRINK
In order to keep entry to our event free to visitors, we rely on their support to purchase from the food and drink suppliers at the festival. Visitors are therefore encouraged to buy from our vendors and are not permitted to bring their own food and drink to the event. Alcohol purchased externally is strictly prohibited from the festival. A licensed bar will be available at the event.

DOGS
Dogs are permitted on the outside area of the festival but must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are not permitted in the main building with the exception of guide dogs.
