We have recently received a donation from The Arts Society Wokingham, towards our Learning & Participation programmes for young people 2019/2020. Thank you to all the members for considering our request and enabling us to continue this much needed provision in Bracknell.
South Hill Park runs a varied and exciting programme of activities targeted specifically at young people in Bracknell. This includes Wilde about Arts, 11-17, Young Producers, Easter and Summer theatre based programmes and much more.
This work is only possible through our fundraising efforts and the generous contribution of individuals, local societies and companies. The contribution from The Arts Society Wokingham will help towards our fundraising targets for the coming year, enabling local young people in Bracknell to engage in arts based programmes.
The impact of the arts on young people is recognised as giving a positive effect on their academic attainment as well as social, emotional and personal development.
