Join us this summer and celebrate the bard in our amphitheatre with The Tempest.
A powerful magician is banished from home and stranded on a fantastical isle. As the usurpers gloat, plans are put in place for revenge. Shakespeare examines the illusion of justice, the difficulty of distinguishing men from monsters and the allure of ruling a colony in this most fabulous of plays. Fast paced, full of energy, humour and invention South Hill Park does what it does best, making magic out of thin air. “We are such stuff as dreams are made on”.
