Tap Your Way into the Record Books for Children in Need

September 1, 2015

Please note this event is now fully booked.

The Performers Project are once again running their Children in Need fundraiser and looking to break the world record for the most number of tappers dancing the same routine at the same time across the nation.

This is your chance to get involved right here at South Hill Park Arts Centre.

Lift Off Dance Festival Director Lena Dee will be the leading a rehearsal session on 8th November with the attempt taking part on 15th November. Lena is looking for tappers – new or experienced – to join in this exciting record breaking attempt.

So if you’ve ever fancied trying your hand (um, foot) at tap, or are a seasoned tapper looking for a chance to perform, then this is for you!

You will need to commit to both the rehearsal and record breaking attempts on 8 November and 15 November. The rehearsal will be two hours and you’ll learn a set tap routine to be performed at the record attempt.

You do not need to be sponsored to take part but just need the official t-shirt to take part in the record attempt. T-shirt costs £10 and all proceeds go to Children in Need.

Open to all aged 11 to 111!  Bring your family and friends and have fun raising money for charity!
