Due to hugely popular demand, Cinema in Symphony will return to the Wilde Theatre on Saturday 19th September for a magical evening. The event will be hosted again by BBC Radio Berkshire’s Rory McAllister, alongside the phenomenal Reading Symphony Orchestra, playing music you may just recognize…
Cinema in Symphony is not just all about the music – you’ll be able to rub shoulders with Storm Troopers, bow before Lord Vader and try your hand at battling with a lightsaber! As well as a few other movie characters — to be unveiled soon! There will also be the chance to get up, close and personal to film props you’ll have definitely recognise!
This is the perfect opportunity to experience a full-scale orchestra playing live music! Not only will you hear themes from Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of The Caribbean and Jurassic Park, we are delighted to announce that award winning composer John Lunn will be guest conducting a glorious suite from the much loved ITV production Downton Abbey – just in time for the last ever season!
Don’t miss this beautiful event – experience a night at the movies with a difference.
