Festivals at South Hill Park

Each year South Hill Park Arts Centre, Bracknell, hosts a number of regular festivals and large events, as well as a number of pop-up events. This page will detail the regular festivals held here at South Hill Park.

South Hill Park Food Festival

Held within the Mansion House and the beautifully refurbished grounds of South Hill Park, the Food Festival is held in early June and is FREE to attend.

Specialist food and drink stallholders offer tasters and help you to select your purchases. From Mediterranean and Thai food, to ice creams, crepes and wine – there’s something for all. There’s also entertainment for the kids, including a bouncy castle (weather permitting).

A fantastic and unmissable event for all ages, with tasty food and drink on offer – all in one place. No need to book tickets in advance; just turn up on the day and bring the sunshine!

Although entry is free, please note that stall holders will charge for food, drinks or activities.

South Hill Park Craft and Design Fair

Around forty artists join us from all over the country to show their designs and chat with visitors. We always welcome a range of new faces, as well as a host of regulars we all know and love including our own visual art tutors.

If you would like to be considered as an exhibitor please email Sally Little (sl@nullpeascarrots.co.uk) with a selection of images, no more than 5MB in total, of your most recent work for consideration.

Lift Off Dance Festival

Lift Off Dance Festival is the annual dance festival held at South Hill Park Arts Centre, Bracknell since 2000.

The festival aims to offer a chance for everyone to experience dance as a participant, performer or audience member and bring together those new to dance or taking their first steps on stage, with those working in the world of professional dance as teacher, performer or choreographer.

Initially started by Bracknell Forest Council, South Hill Park took full ownership of the festival under the artistic direction of Lena Dee from 2005.

Each year the festival hosts several dance performances by the local community and professional dance companies, alongside a variety of dance workshops, dance cinema, live dance performance relays from around the globe and related dance events.

For more information see our dedicated Lift Off Dance Festival page.

Bracknell Festival

Bracknell Festival is a one day ticketed music festival held in the picturesque grounds of South Hill Park Arts Centre in late July/early August.

After several year’s break, Bracknell Festival returned to the South Hill Park events calendar in 2016.

Headlined by some well-known professional artists, with quality support acts scheduled throughout the day, Bracknell Festival is a musical feast.

There is also a whole host of children’s activities, a wide range of food stalls, drinks tents, a VIP area and more.
