Shaolin Eagle Claw Tumbling is a traditional martial arts system from Hopbei Province in Northern China. The style encompasses kicking, striking, joint locking and throwing.

The style came south through China to Hong Kong with the spread of the Jing Wu Association. Many famous Eagle Claw teachers taught at the Jing Wu Association, one of these was Grand Master Lau Fat Mang a gifted martial artist and war hero who fought the Japanese in WWII. His daughter Master Gini Lau learnt the Eagle Claw system from him and studied Peking opera with Samo Hung and Jackie Chan.

James Wilsdon has been studying Kung Fu for over 20 years and qualified as a teacher within the World Eagle Claw Kung Fu Institute in 2014. He has trained in Shaolin Kung Fu as well as the Eagle Claw system.  He has also studied Yi Ging (Tendon Change), Ba Daun Gum (8 Strings of the Brocade) and Pa Da (Meridian Striking). He currently teaches Kung Fu in Twyford in the UK and in 2017 had the honour of being made the disciple of his teacher Master Gini Lau.
