Hi I would like to come and sing as a solo performer. Never tried this and just feel it the right time to try singing.

Dear Sheerifa,
Park Singers is a 10 week course. The new course beings on Sunday 24 September and runs every Sunday until December. There is a half term break after 5 weeks. There are still places available. Top price ticket is £85. If you would like to join the class you can call the Box Office on 01344 484123 and they will please happy to take your booking or you can book on line at

Hello…plse could you explain a little about this course and what ..if any..level of singing does one have to have? Thank you

Ellen, I am a member of the class, and it is a master class format with each student performing and getting feedback and guidance on singing and performance technique from the teacher in every class.
There is a pianist to accompany you and you can sing what you wish. You need to bring your own sheet music. Any of music can be chosen, classical, opera, leider, pop, musicals, jazz etc. so bring what you would like to sing and you think will suit your voice. The teacher will give suggestions if you are unsure. We’re a friendly bunch.
Despite the picture typically we don’t use microphones. The theme for the next term in case you want inspiration for what to choose is body parts and senses (you dont have to use it). We build up to an informal recital concert at the end of term where we each perform 2 to 3 songs and friends and relative can be invited to come.
If you are unsure I suggest coming along to the first session on Sunday 24th 7.30 and see if it is what you want.

There is no level of singing requirement. There is a broad range of skill levels in the group and all abilities levels are welcome and will benefit.

Hi, I’ve only just seen this. I would of liked to come along to see if it is something for me. I love singing and it helps with de-stress.

Would this be ok for me to come along to? When does the next term start or is it too late for me to join up for next term?

Many thanks

Dear Rob,
This term began on the 18th September, you could still join but it would cost you the same amount. The next term begins on 14th January. Look out for the next brochure so you know the dates to book on to the course.
