Bracknell Choral Society’s Fundraising Concert

A Song for Everyone

Bracknell Choral Society presents “A Song for Everyone” in response to SHP’s Chief Executive’s 2017 appeal for help with funding the Arts Centre.

The programme enjoys varied and uplifting choral music from composers such as Vaughan Williams, Leonard Bernstein and Samuel Barber. Arrive at 7pm if you wish join the choir in singing the glorious “ I Was Glad” by Sir Hubert Parry.  

All proceeds from the concert go to South Hill Park.

Rheinberger – Stabat Mater
Vaughan-Williams – Five Mystical Songs
Victoria – Jesu, dulcis memoria
Bernstein – Make our garden grow
Whitacre – Seal Lullaby
Lauridsen – Sure on this shining night
Barber – Sure on this shining night
Parry  – ‘I was Glad’
